St. Paul's has partnered with the Journey Church in offering children, who qualify for the Federal Food Assistance Program at the Carl L. Barton School, a bag of food to take home each Friday to ensure that they have food to eat over each weekend during the school year.

At the present time, there are almost 50 children in grades primary through fourth whose parents have responded positively to a letter sent home by the school explaining this church-based project.  As more grades are included in the future, other local churches will be asked to assist in this project as they are able.

Each school year, Journey Church will Feed the Kids on the 1st and 2nd Fridays of each month, and St. Paul's will Feed the Kids on the 3rd and 4th Friday of each month.  Any 5th Friday will be assigned soon.

Members of St. Paul's are asked to donate food items from the list printed below or donate money so items may be purchased as needed.  No specific brands of food are required, but the list is "item" specific.   A tub marked "Feed the Kids" is located in the south entrance of the church for your donations.

To help with this project, please contact Debbie Ross or Amy Walton.  We are looking for food baggers, food deliverers, food shoppers, and food supply auditors, or, as previously stated, you can donate financially for this project.
